Ugh. Right there with you. I become particularly frustrated when men who say they're switches want to wrestle or play with me, and then get miffed at me because I don't lose. Unfortunately I'm not always strong enough to win, either, so I've walked out of a couple of scenes just pissed off and annoyed that people don't just listen.
Probably not a surprise, dominent men do this to women who identify as purely dominant as well. I can't help feeling that switch women have the hardest time with this, as their identity invites assholes from both sides and their dislike can't be explained away by saying "I just don't swing that way."

I couldn’t help but think while I was reading this that if a few words were changed this could be something I use to hear from so called dumb ass dom males back when I was a switch.
As soon as I identified myself as a switch they would tell me that I just hadn’t met the right man to make me give up my clueless need to be a dominant female. Oh, and that they of course were just the man to make me see the light, don’t you know.

You can’t be too harsh on the poor lads. Fantasy is a lovely place to live, after all. It’s just not realistic, is all—but analytical prowess clearly isn’t their strong suit.

And speaking of fantasy, yours sounds lovely. All men should totally be bisexual. It’d help me out a lot. ;)

Wow. Although I've never specifically wanted a switch that would change my gender, that's a fascinating thought experiment. I have crossdressed, but experience just doesn't compare, because I couldn't really pass at the time. (I could probably pass now, come to think of it.)

I had a very hard time writing this post, because although I have experienced first hand the very prejudices I was railing against, it's hard for me to adjust myself to a mindset I feel so completely alienated from. In that way I would be interested in gender switching, because I'd like to talk to the men who believe these things as a man. As a woman the effort just doesn't work.

And then, goodness, what great scenes that switch would make for.
