Like the last time we moved around the world, I realise now that we haven’t actually communicated our plan for the next few months to the world. So here it is.
We’re leaving Sydney in early March. We will return to New York, for a while. Long enough to see our friends, our families. Long enough to launch Kink for All. Long enough to arrange the scattered pieces of our lives. Hopefully long enough to get Maymay kidnapped, captured and througly played out.
Why are we leaving here, you ask? It’s time. We’ve been in Sydney long enough to know we won’t be making a home here at this point in our lives. The city’s not quite right for us, right now. (This makes me feel like Goldilocks; too hot, to cold, just right. Too big, too small, just right.)
After some weeks in New York, though, we’re moving on. I know there is some hope that we would once again be residents of NYC, but it isn’t time, just yet. So where are we going?
San Francisco.
Why?
Isn’t it obvious?

Evidently, however, you have spent enough time in Sydney to start spelling certain words with an ‘s’ instead of a ‘zee.’ ;) (Realise versus realize.)
I think you’ll like it here–I sure do!
I’m a touch sad you’re heading to the west coast (still closer than Sydney, I suppose), but glad you two will be spending some time in NYC before that. I hope to meet up with both of you then, at Kink for all or elsewhere.
I’m jealous. San Fransisco may be the greatest city in the world.
I wish you two only the best on your move and your endeavors. If anyone can do it, make it work, and enjoy it the entire time, it is you two.
When you have your flight information, won’t you please forward it to me? I would really love to meet you at the airport to welcome you home. Even if you’ll be making your home in San Fransisco, I’d like to welcome you back to mine.
Oh neat. I think San Francisco is indeed “just right.” Also, I am totally down to help out with KinkForAll SF when y’all get out here…
I hope I’ll have the chance to see you during your time in NYC! I’m sad to hear that you won’t be staying, but happy for you both that you’re setting out for new adventures.
